Is anyone from Davis area driving to AC early enough for the lessons at 8pm(?). And no--I'm just going to *try* the lesson, I'm not going to dance with the big kids at 9pm.

Mainly want to see who's a true pentathalete.

And if you are going, can you drop me off in Suisun or Fairfield on the way home.

Here's what's up. I hope to take the train tomorrow. If I get a lift from Davis, I would need to be dropped off in Suisun on the way home, to get my car from the train station.

Or, I could get picked up from my home on the North side of Fairfield.
Or, in Suisun at the train station. (I get to Suisun about 6.30, home by about 6:45 or so.)

Just asking.

well, crap, I've gone and double-scheduled myself again, I meant to attend Ceilidh this monday but it's also the Choirloft's Yule celebration...

trekster was thinking about going (if I went) and she'll be coming from Vallejo... no, she wouldn't go thru Suisun after all.

We won't be going (not unusual for us we did go once and it was fun) The lesson actually seems to teach one of the harder dances and the easier ones are taught after 9. I thought that was kind of strange, but it seems to work. I suggest trying to get a central position in any dance you're trying to learn since teachers volume tends to vary, but they aim their lesson at the center.

Ah. It sounds then that lessons at 8 are perhaps for ongoing intermediate to advanced students, and the 9am open dance takes all ranges.

I know that they will call the level of the dances, and whether it is open to beginners or not.

Eh, I'd show up and ask around to see who is teaching. They adapt the lessons for whoever's there. Tonight should be a great night to go- I understand we'll be doing a Christmas set:)

Anywhere on Park Street. You can usually find something within a block or so. Alternately, there's free-after-six lot right around the corner (if you're going down Park Street, coming from Oakland, turn right at the same corner the Ballet Academy is on).
