Heard about Hawaii. Like a pork chop: getting dredged, then shaken, then dredge again.

Seriously though: how many of our folk are scheduled to fly out this week? And when?

If one of you migratory birds could find a way to let us know when all of you have arrived safely, it would be appreciated.

And if this is being covered/answered elsewhere let me know.

How 'bout this- I talked to Josh S. twice today (~11 and ~3 CA time), and he never mentioned anything unpleasant. His main concern was having my tattoo artist friend verify the quality of a certain studio. Given that, I'm not worried.

They are in Honolulu. Google Honolulu and compare to the weather.com images which show the storm hitting the big island. I tried to get distance and got an error cuz you can't drive (duh!) that distance so I thumbnailed it and got what I had heard on the Weather Channel. The distance between Hilo and Honolulu is over 300 miles so it's like asking if we in SF/Bay Area felt an earthquake and hurricane that hit offshore of Los Angeles. Now it makes sense to me. They'll get the rain they need in this drought, some excitement, and some really tall waves, but the real action is half a state away. It's just hard for us to fathom because we are unfamiliar with Hawaiian geography. It's California a century from now (with all the valleys underwater, but the distances still intact).
