But may I point out, Mr. Twain said, "Every time I read Jane Austen..." which means he did it more than once, and anticipated doing it again! So there! The man may have been a cynic, but he probably skimmed through the novels, searching for JaneSnarkisms.
My two cents, and probably deserves 5 cents change.
