Clothing questions
May. 31st, 2009 11:26 pm1. I know I can offer these to WEAVE--is there anyone else who needs size 10 or 12 clothes right now?
2. I think the answer is obvious, but...
...I know that clothing designers periodically 'shrink' their sizing grades to make the customers happy (what was a size 16 thirty years ago is now a size 12). Shall i presume retail clothing pattern makers did NOT follow suit?
In clothes, I know I range between size 12-14 (mostly 14) depending upon the designer.
In my Vogue and Sew Easy patterns, Im size 18-20. Is that correct, or did I screw up the measurements?
I think I'm going to play it safe, and cut a muslin first.
