Notebook needed. As much as under $1000 as possible.

Looking at ASUS Eee PC, or Acer. ASUS originally suggested by H, for their under $500 models---and now I'm wondering if I should try the $800 model.

Any other nominees?


Reason for notebook: lower price, small size. Better for wallet and back.
