Saturdaying possibilities
Oct. 25th, 2007 05:24 pmI wish I hadn't made the eye appointment for this Saturday!
Apple Hilling sounds lovely (never been). Muir Woods sounds fantastic (also never been!)
But, there is this eye appointments in mid day (have to have the contacts in at least 4 hours).
So, suspect people will want to be out on the road while I'm still in the doc office.
Kimberly Trip is Sat night in Sac (go to their website for tickets, or take you chances that you can still get in).
And then my friend Mira sent me this: Moonlight Paddle up to the Folsom Bridges. I need to call and see how much to rent equipment, for those who don't own.
And see if I can find all my yak gear and be on the road to Folsom by 4pm. Yoiks.
From Mira:
Hey A,
I won't be around this weekend to go to this-but it's supposed to be beautiful this weekend. Get some of your dancing buddies into a boat! and take yours to this.

Subject: [SSK] Full Moon Paddle this Saturday
If anyone is interested in getting a nice moonlight paddle in, some CCK folk will be launching from Willow Creek on Saturday at 5:30pm. A mellow cruise down to the Folsom bridges to hang out to watch the moon come up and then paddle back in the dark and quiet. If you haven't been on Lake Natoma at night it is a special treat - almost no city lights to mar the view of the moon and tree-lined shore. Anyone with their own equipment is welcome to join us - no charge. Parkingis $3. Date: Saturday, Oct 27Time: 5:30 - 9:00 PMLocation: Willow Creek Access on Lake Natoma.
There also seemed to be a note about "costume optional"....hmmm. Will investigate.
