GuildMIstress suggests maybe using a KMart $5 fishing tackle box, as that is something she has found to be very useful. Or is it specifically a basket you need?
*slaps forehead* Jeez. And I use such a one for a water color kit!
That might work. And it could be carried, or with a strap, slung over the back or shoulder easier than standard round baskets. AND they have solid, less cutesy fasteners.
Thanks! Was looking for a secure sewing box to take to/leave at work.
Off-topic: do you have dinner plans tonight? I just realized I've got way more ingredient-type food than I can reasonably eat over the next week, and the freezer's getting crowded again. B is out of town until Saturday. :-/
If you have interest in chicken with potatoes (does pesto "go" on potatoes?), you're welcome anytime this evening. I'm planning on mending, and maybe spinning, in front of the Thompson/Rickman Sense and Sensibility.
If you're already busy, no worries/apologies. I know this is exceedingly last-minute :-)
Buggers. The only problem is that I got 4 hours of sleep last night and am feeling it.
Hmmm. What about tomorrow night? Mr. Snuffy usually invites his friend over to watch DVDs, and I usually stash myself in the back bedroom. I was thinking of going to the gym perhaps, to work out for a bit. I suppose eating is a good substitute for that!
Or will all the food die tonight?
And I turn down nothing with pesto, and nothing involving Alan Rickman. And btw, Snuffy and I finally saw Bride and Prejudice through Netflix.
He liked it so much, he bought a copy of that AND Monsoon Wedding!
I'm overnighting at my sister's place tomorrow, so Wednesday not so much a possibility, nor Thursday neither (yay Pryactice!).
I could bake the chicken tonight and freeze most of it, then defrost Friday. Is Friday possible? (For that matter, chicken has a "use-by" of Aug 5. The food will keep--the angst was more a matter of "argh my three pounds of potatoes are monopolizing one of the crisper drawers". :-)
You get sleep tonight. Thank you for realizing that it is a priority for the evening.
Problem, committed to be in Sac on Fri for Shakespeare.
Very sorry. This sounded fun. Tonight, I wouldn't have even gotten to Suisun until about 6.30; so wouldn't have hit your house until 7.30, with evening commuters.

Re: Friday?
How are you getting to Davis on Friday?
