Sounds like someone I need to meet!:)

The only place I know of is the Capoeira Cafe here in Berkeley. It's one of the best schools in the state. There's also an SF school, but I have no idea with them at all, other than that they have a bit of a rep at the Cafe for being unnecessarily competitive. I'm sure if she called the Capoeira Cafe she could ask them all sorts of questions.

The best time to call is late afternoon/evening between 5 and 8 or so. Recruto (sp?) runs the place (pronounced he-KROO-to, with a rolled R).

'Allo! ^_^

Sorry I had, in my thoughtlessness, believed I responded. Not the case :doh!:

Berkeley sounds good, but depends on where they were (will so look up the school) and would, if you remember, the SF school be Abada Capoeira? (I am hoping that it isnt cause it did sound not only good but women friendly.)

Thanks for the info!! ^_______^

I honestly don't remember what the name of the SF school is. All I know, I know second hand, from students at a school that is rather famous, so it's really hard to make a comparison.

Sorry, I can't help more.
